I've been using the MAC foundation stick and it's AWESOME, but so damn expensive. I need to find something cheap that I can rely on also.

I've been using Rimmell Lasting Finish enriched with minerals for a couple months now, and I like it. I haven't used many 'high-end'
foundations except for Bare Escentuals, so I can't really compare it to anything. But I have oily, acne-prone skin and I think it gives me pretty good
coverage. I got it for around $7 at Ulta, and there's always coupons for Rimmell stuff in the newspaper!

I've used that Rimmel foundation recently too and liked it. It has good reviews on Makeup Alley and it's on $5 at WalMart so I bought when I was in
between my other foundations.

I think I'm going to try the Rimmell one, I usually use True Match which isn't TOO bad, but my face is getting really oily and nasty now.
Does the Lasting Finish have good color selections? and is it yellow undertones? |

I like Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation. It doesn't get nasty or melt off my face.

That's the thing about Lasting Finish is I don't think it has the best color selections...only 4 choices I think? I think I get the lightest one, and I
used to wear the medium shades in Bare Escentuals.

Yeah. I bought it yesterday to try it out. I had to get the darkest shade and its a little orange on me but I'll just put more powder powder on, which is a
light shade since I got the wrong one and skip the bronzer.
They had some that were paired up with the primer and they didn't have the right color for me. The pair was only $5.80 or so. |

Yeah, I was coming in here to say that the last couple times I've gotten it has been at Ulta and they've had it with the primer for free. Too bad they
didn't have your shade! I don't think the primer is super duper great or anything, though.

I know lots of people like Revlon Color Stay. I haven't tried it though. I used to like Loreal True Match, but it doesn't have enough coverage for me
(I need quite a bit of coverage), and I found out that Loreal isn't animal friendly, so yeah...that's no longer an option for me which is lame, because
I used to really like Loreal! But if you aren't an animal rights freak like me and you don't need a ton of coverage, Loreal True Match is good, IMO.
They have a bunch of shades, so it's not hard to find one that's a good match.

Yeah, I saw Revlon Color Stay too, I'll probably try that next time.
I use to use Loreal True Match and could get decent covering with it, and I need A LOT. but it's staying power went downhill as time went on and it would just melt off my face. that's why I'm trying to find a new foundation now. Rimmell's been working pretty good, it's staying on my face and definitely not melting. |

I use Rimmel Face Primer to set my make-up first (just a little dab here and there, a little goes a long way). Then I use Physician's Formula powder
foundation. I have acne-prone skin and these products are really gentle. I'd recommend them to anyone on a budget who really has to be careful about what
they put on their face.
