There's some interest so I'll be organizing again this year. And I promise not to post links to the list on the board this time! 
Every year we have a card swap so that JJBers can spread some seasonal cheer around. I will collect names and addresses of those of you who want to receive cards and compile them into a list. When that's done, those that want to send cards can e-mail me to request the list.
If you choose to sign up for this you must understand that the info you provide will be available to anybody that requests it. If you are uncomfortable with this you have a few options. Some use a pseudonym (such as their screen name or even just their first name and last initial) instead of their full name and/or get a P.O. box to have their cards sent to so that they're not giving out their physical address. Also you can opt to only send cards (the only information anybody would get then would be the postmark of where it was mailed) and not receive. And of course you don't have to participate at all. If you're under 18 I suggest you either do not receive cards or at least get your parents' permission first.
Also, we usually have more folks receiving than sending and those that send don't always send to the entire list. You likely will get fewer cards than you send. I can't make anybody send cards. But, personally, I don't think it's about "I only got X cards but I sent out 9459475936459." It's the holiday season, that's not the spirit. And we have folks here who celebrate holidays other than Christmas so some folks will send out Hannukah cards, for example. We welcome this. No discrimination on religion here.

E-mail me at jjbcardswap@yahoo.com with "I want to recieve cards" in the subject line. Include the following information in the body of the e-mail:

When I have finished the list you can e-mail jjbcardswap@yahoo.com with "I want to send cards" in the subject line. I will reply with the list. I always do the list in a table in MS Word. If you do not have means to open this file (.doc) then please let me know in the e-mail and I can either send it in a .txt file or just paste it into the e-mail.
I will take addresses starting today and going through Thanksgiving (November 27th). After November 27th please do not e-mail me requesting to be added to the list. Every year I get a handful of people that didn't see the post, weren't around all month or forgot to e-mail me. Then I have to add their addresses in at the last minute, sometimes after I've starting sending the list out. This year I'm standing firm on my date. If you can't e-mail me by then I'm sorry, but you will not be on the list.
Starting December 1st I will be sending the list out to those that request it. Please don't e-mail me for it until then.
I think that about covers it. Any questions can be posted here or PMed to me on Yuku. Try to use the e-mail only for addresses and list requests.
