Yes. But not specifically because of the current economy. I'm spending less and saving more because I'm saving to move to a different town and purchase
a townhouse.

Yep. I don't go home anymore to save gas, I've cancelled any doctor's appointments not in my town, I buy everything (except tampons) generic, and
I've stopped buying/spending money on things that aren't essentials. I have to, I have no choice.

Alf - because of the economy or other circumstances?

Yes. I tend to think twice before purchasing all non-essentials. Reason wins out and I wind up with nothing most of the time.

Yes, mostly because I am still waiting for my first check for my new job. I'm spending massively less on concerts (by less, I mean nothing). I'm also
selling a ticket to see one of my favorite artists to make extra cash. Even when I get an income coming in again, I probably won't spend as much as I used
to.

No. In fact, I just got a shipping confirmation order from UPS and was freaking out, because I couldn't remember what all I bought this weekend, and I
definitely didn't remember ordering anything that would be shipped UPS, so I had to sort through my inbox to figure out wtf it was.
I have a shopping problem. |

No, but I have a bit of a problem when it comes to that anyway.

Yeah but I've been trying to cut back for a while. I bring my lunch to work everyday, make my own iced coffee, and look at my closet before I click
"checkout" for online orders to remind myself that I have way more than enough clothes and shoes

There isn't a scare of that happening right now, but with our economy and the crappy state of the tourism industry (which helps pay for my job) I realize I could have to rely on savings if it gets to that point. |

Yes, but it has absolutely no correlation to the ecomony, I just know I blow too much money

Yes. No more quick trips to Starbucks, I try to not even go in Target anymore because the temptation is too great. It sucks.
