I really really hope that with the help of therapists and her new parents she'll be able to have some sort of normal life someday. Her birth mother makes me sick

There has to be a typo in there. My daughter will be 7 in October and weighs about 47 pounds. She is considered a good weight. They say this child doubled her
weight and when found was 46 pounds. Obviously a 92 pound 8 year old is way overweight. I have a feeling this poor little kid was more like 23 pounds when they
found her and has doubled to 46.
So sick...and sad. And such a cute little girl...

I just finished reading that and it seriously broke my heart. I can not believe that her birth mother doesn't seem to think she did anything wrong. I know
they said her IQ was low and stuff, but still I was just dumbfounded.
I am so glad that Dani is doing well though. And major kudos to her parents for everything that they've done for her. |
