I thought the music video for "Piece of Me" was a piece of crap. The Ting Tings video was WAY better. Ok, even Pussycat Dolls video was better and
even Chris Brown's.
These were the worst VMAs I have ever seen. I thought for the 25th anniversary they were going to do something huge, but I think MTV just wanted to let it go down the drain. You can tell they do not care anymore. And to make up for the suckery of it all, they gave Britney awards for publicity so the media can concentrate on her winning awards instead of how sucky the show was. |

I'm not reading this whole post, but I just wanted to say that I just started watching the rerun, and I teared up when Britney won. LMFAO, and I'm not
even a Britney fan. I felt like that little dude who used to come on here and scream and hyperventilate over Britney...remember that kid?

The VMAs should really go back to New York, 1999-2001 were the best shows especially 1999 I loved that stage and Chris Rock was awesome

I missed the first half of the show so I'm watching now...
The beginning part of the Jonas Brothers' performance when they were singing on the stairs was really cute.
And I actually like Rihanna's signing 'Disturbia'. I don't know. The show could have been/has been a lot worse. |

Remembering the good ol' days:
The Rage Against the Machine guy climbing the prop when Limp Bizkit was giving their acceptance speech. Eminem telling Moby he'll hit a man with glasses and the crowd booing Em. Diana Ross lifting Lil Kim's tit-tay. Nsync and Britney performing. Chris Rock asking which Backstreet Boy will get Britney pregnant. Pee Wee Herman asking if we've heard any good jokes lately. Kid Rock bringing out Run DMC. Dr. Dre and Em bringing out Snoop. Eminem's 1st VMA acceptance speech (before he became a diva). Puffy performing I'll Be Missing You with Sting. Triump The Insult Comic Dog wanting to hump JLo and bringout out the diva in Eminem. The most memorable thing from this VMAs is Jordin Sparks calling people sluts. |
