Yep. Living in Hollywood it really wasn't even that exciting most of the time.

This is not directed at anyone, because I haven't really read the responses, but!
It creeps me out/confuses me that people go out of their way to meet celebrities or go to Meet & Greets or try to become BFFs with bands, especially, after shows and things--and act like total tools, too, in attempts of befriending them. I don't know, I kind of have a hard time just understanding the whole thing. I don't get it, and I know it's said all of the time, BUT THEY ARE JUST NORMAL PEOPLE. I mean, what they must think when they have random people coming up to them and wanting to meet them, not having any idea of who they are but rather the person they seem to be or present publicly or on stage or based nearly entirely on how they look or just the fact that they're famous. That's nuts! I mean, maybe if you run into them BY ACCIDENT... no big deal. But I don't run into anyone in random Southern New Jersey! |

I don't know why it creeps you out when people go to meet-n-greets. Stalking someone at their hotel or something I can understand, but something that was
specifically set up for fans to meet said person, I just don't see how that is creepy.
Me, personally, meeting celebrities isn't like a Holy experience or anything. I have yet to get excited over anyone I have met (in the OH MY GOD I MET SO AND SO!!1111!!! kind of way) but I do enjoy getting to meet people I listen to or watch on tv. It's nice to be able to shake hands and tell them it's nice to meet them and how much you enjoy what they do. Everyone I have met has been by chance or by meet n greet, so. Edit: That shrugging smiley looks so snotty. That's not how I meant my reply.

I bumped into Chloe Sevigny a few times on my daily dog walks when I was in NYC. She looked at him every time and smiled lol I didn't bother talking to
her, but I smiled back. She seemed very nice and approachable.

I met Joshua Jackson. He was at Much Music, I stepped down off of the table I was sitting on to get a picture, stumbled and he caught my arm to stop me from falling.I'm totally jealous. I think that's one crush that will never die. |

Aww, the Jason Wade story saddens me
Maybe he had an argument with his wife or something that day. From what you said it seems like he wanted to be alone
for whatever reason. Every time I've seen Lifehouse it was at a small venue or a college. I'm sure if my friends and I hung around afterwards we could
have had a chance at meeting them, but we just never did. I regret it now lol

That's like opposite of my experience. They (Lifehouse) were all really nice, including Jason. They post for picture after picture with everyone and were chatty and nice. Jason was looking really hot too and I got to stand next to him. This was at a smaller venue, more like a club show, on a college campus though.Yeah, that's how my experience was. They were signing after the show and we were waiting for our friend, then this guy was like, "the line starts here for pictures with Lifehouse" and my friends and I were at the front of the line and excited to be in the right place at the right time. We were freshman in High School so my friend's parents came with us. Apparently they had a bassist from Australia fill in for them on the tour and his parents started talking to my friend's parents and they hit it off, but this was all before we realized we could get a picture with them. But all of them were really nice, even Jason. He didn't talk much though. But apparently, and to this day my friend brags about it, Jason "rubbed" her back and all she did was talk about it for months. It got really annoying. |

I've met - Lance Bass, Blake Lively (super super nice), Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford (such a sweet guy), and Ed Westwick. The only one I don't have a
picture with is Ed, but it's ok because he gave me one of his pictures from the TRL photobooth.

I met a lot of celebrities, mostly athletes, at my old job. But also some other celebs...my favorites were the *NSYNC guys and John Mayer. All so super duper
nice and John is gorrrrrrrrgeous in person. I wanted to jump on him so bad.
