I never owned my own vehicle prior to inheriting my dad's minivan after he passed away. It's a 2000 model and it's still in excellent shape. Until
my van or my husband's car is totalled (God forbid) or falls apart, we're hanging on to 'em.

1992 Dodge Shadow. Gave me some problems, but after fixing the transmission a year after getting it, I drove it for about 4 years before getting a new car.

1988 S-10 Chevy Truck
I liked it but had no safety features so I traded it in 2 1/2 years later- I still miss it sometimes. It used to be a Renton Parks and Rec. Department vehicle but my dad got it at a car auction and steamed cleaned the engine and put in a cd player. I sort of wish I still had it now |

I got a 1999 Convertible Suzuki Vitara for my 16th birthday. It was a good first car, I definitely beat it up though.

1994 Pontiac Grand Am. Turned out it was allergic to Kentucky...the pistons got really weird when we were on our way to Gatlinburg, then the following year it
bit the dust in Cincinnati when my friend and I were going to meet someone from online.
