Britney Spears stops by Conway Recording studios in Los Angeles with her mother Lynn on Wednesday.
Justin Timberlake and Britney were supposed to work together and record a duet for Britney's latest album Blackout, but the troubled pop star reportedly failed to show up for a scheduled recording session at Timbaland's Virginia Beach studio last August, according to PageSix.
"Timbaland set aside a week out of his crazy schedule to do this - and then, just before she was supposed to fly out, Britney abruptly canceled the session and refused to do the song," a source said.
"It's crazy," the insider added. "She's looking for a comeback, and this would have not only been a huge hit, but something she could have opened the MTV Video Awards with and really blown everyone away."
