like awhile ago? Not vomit but it comes up and not necessarily out, and your throat has a weird feeling to it?
I googled it but I needed it explained in my terms.

Basically. The weird feeling is caused by the stomach acid coming up.

What causes it? In Layman's terms.

My mom has acid reflux and she doesn't regurgitate food at all. She just gets heartburn and coughs a lot.

Severe acid reflux can cause you to regurgitate some.
Causes? Sometimes being overweight can cause it or make it worse...the excess weight pushes on the stomach. My husband struggles with his weight some and when he's thinner he doesn't have a problem but when he's heavier he has pretty bad reflux. I'm sure there are a million and one other things that can cause it but I'm not really familiar with what. |

it's also related to anxiety. Either the anxiety causes the reflux, or the reflux causes the anxiety (you can gag in your sleep and wake up in a panic and
not know why)

I don't think it's weight because I weigh 130 and i'm 5'3. I'm thinking it's because I had fast food earlier tonight and I haven't
had that in awhile. My stomach feels unsettled and when I regurgitated, it tasted like what I ate for dinner.

It's an acid/burning feeling in your chest and/or esophagus. My asthma meds cause me to have reflux sometimes.
