I do not understand how vegans LIVE. Fine, don't eat meat. I can do that. But cheese?! Ice cream?! Eggs?! 99% of every food that is good has some sort of
dairy in it!!!

Are we getting pics of mac and cheese like we did the bacon?
I don't know what vegans' dietary guidelines are -- but could you make something with soy cheese? |

Vegan Macaroni and ''Cheese'' recipe
8 min | 8 min prep SERVES 6 * 1 1/2 cups plain soymilk * 1 cup water * 1/3 cup tamari or soy sauce * 1 1/2 cups nutritional yeast * 1 tablespoon paprika * 1 tablespoon garlic powder * 1 tablespoon salt * 3 ounces firm tofu * 1 cup canola oil * 1 1/2 lbs macaroni noodles * 2 teaspoons mustard (optional) 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Boil water in a big pot for the pasta. 3. All of the ingredients sans pasta can easily go in a blender (liquid and powdered) -- this is by far the easiest way. 4. Once pasta is cooked, drain and put it in the baking pan pour the cheese sauce over the pasta. 5. Bake until the top of the pasta looks slightly browned and crispy about 15 minutes. © 2008 Recipezaar. All Rights Reserved. http://www.recipezaar.com |

vegan ice cream is amazing, especially when it's homemade. there are substitutes for everything these days.

that's what makes me laugh, people say it's not the "real thing"... nope, it's different, but still just as "real", food is
food. sometimes they're even better. I actually feel sick to my stomach if I even smell meaty stuff anymore, it's just yucky to me. I prefer soy and
veggie products for their taste and what they do for my body (not just my beliefs). I am starting to get that way about eggs and milk now too, if it
weren't for cheese I'd be totally vegan right now.
