The new X-Files film is released this Friday in North America. I am looking forward to watching it.
I've read that the Mulder and Scully scenes are the best and that David and Gillian's chemistry is better than ever. Any of you planning to watch IWTB? |

i saw it at the premiere last night! it was SO good. ive been a huge fan of the x.-files when i was younger so even after all those years i enjoyed watching
mulder and scully on screen together!

fan, they just didn't know how big of a fan. Until now. Haha.

I REALLY wanted to see it opening day but I think i'm going to have to wait till like next Tuesday to see it with bff  SO PISSED ABOUT IT 
oh well, i can survive.
i'm currently rewatching the rest of S9 & the first movie in preparation  I just finished watching "William." it was pretty funny watching
Gillian on Leno last night cuz she totally mentioned that ep and said she'd completely forgotten taht Scully had a baby  LMAO Gillian's such a
hoot
oh and I'm changing my avatar with X-Files icons like every day and my entire flair is full of X-Files in honor

Lixxie, it doesn't sound like it to me either! LMAO i'm kinda scurred
 but i think it will be ok. both Gill & Dave seem like they had kinda
forgotten some stuff  LOL it's kind of hilarious in a way but also a little alarming 
btw, please one of you make an X-Files thread WITH spoilers & a separate thread for one with NO spoilers, for those of us who won't be able to see it opening day. I just want to see what people's opinions are but not reading any spoilers whatsoever. |

I want to see it! The only thing, though, is that I've only seen ONE preview that it was coming out, and that was just a day ago. :/ They should have done
a shitload more advertising.

Just came back from the LA premiere and have to say that it was pretty damn awesome to see Mulder and Scully on screen

I just came back from Comic-con (what up living in San Diego!) and Fox isn't doing jack shit for it there. The lack of pushing at the comic-con
irritated me. It's the perfect time to drum up advertising for the movie and Fox totally blanked on it. I was really anticipating there being a panel for
the movie at the Con this yea, especially since they did Wonder-Con in San Francisco in February.
I sincerely think there needs to be several thousand strongly worded letters to Fox for the lack of advertising. I think they were anticipating it being a
sleeper hit which is bullshit, despite still having fans of the series, it's not going to be enough of a draw, at least in my opinion. They really needed
to do something to ramp up against The Dark Knight, especially since it's being released a week AFTER. I mean seriously, it's less than a week in the
theaters and TDK has already made 220+ million. Fox really missed the boat on this one.

I don't think that this film will do well at the box office. Its production budget was only $30-$35 million, though.
