When you're about to get in a car (and someone else is driving, of course) and someone much older or elderly is about to get in too, do you let that person
sit in the front seat? I do. It's just a habit for me.

There's only one elderly person that I'm ever in the car with and I always give her the front seat. She literally would be unable to get in and out of
the back.
People older than me? If they're disabled or something sure. Otherwise I take shotgun. That's partially because I sometimes get carsick in the back. |

It depends. When I would drive my grandma around, I would but after awhile, I couldn't. I had to put her in the back seat because she would watch me drive
and get paranoid. Her depth perception was off and she'd scream STOP as I was pulling out of whatever because she saw a car 2 blocks away and she thought
it was going to hit us when I would pull out. Sitting in the back, she couldn't see as much and could just listen to the radio or sleep.
My uncle, the asshole, man..we were visiting my aunt, uncle and cousins during Christmas and we went to find this drive through Christmas display and he made my grandma climb into the van in the back and go to the seat behind the driver's side. It took her FOREVER! I was so pissed when I witnessed it, I tried to get her to just sit down where she was behind the front passenger side but he wouldn't let her. Needless to say A. the van had TWO freakin' doors so she didn't have to climb over everything, she could have sat down right away and my aunt could have opened the door on the other side to get in and B. HE FREAKIN' got in the front seat. If I had a gun, I would have shot him. |

That depends on the size of the car.
If it's a mid to full sized 4 door sedan, probably not. In most cars like that there's just as much room in the back as there is in the front, unless the driver has things shoved way back, which is another story. But if it's a small sized or compact car, either 2 door or 4 door, then yes, unless they offer to ride in the back and then well, that's another story too. |

Yep. I do that on a bus, train, or in a crowded room with no seats available also.

It depends who's driving. I get very carsick in the backseat. My family knows it's best for everyone for me to either drive or be in the front seat.
