That I can't answer, the only thing they mentioned was that the local GLBT Shelter in the city that the couple lives in was getting a donation from The
Advocate and it's staff because of the story.

Congrats to them. I'm happy for the family! They have been trying for a long time to have a child and I'm glad that he actually was able to carry it to
full term this time.
Maybe now he can go through with the surgery like he planned to do and everyone will be quiet about the situation and they can live their lives in peace. |

LMAO! Yes because there's a reason for them to intervene. Shut up and go back to OP.

You know, we all start out the same in the womb. Our sex organs determine our gender. This chic has ovaries and vagina, making her a woman with facial hair and
no breasts.

Biologically, a woman had a baby. He is a man though in gender.

agree with you. That little girl is gonna get so confused. It's already hard enough raising a child in this world. This woman is just adding to the
problem.

I think so many people are missing the entire point of this situation. A person who was born a woman but believed she should have been a man for her entire
life starts to go through the transition of becoming a man, but because his (legally he is now a man) wife can't have children he takes it upon himself to
carry the baby for them. They tried and lost a baby and finally he were able to carry her to term. Giving birth to a child is one of the most feminine things
that a person can do, and it is huge that a person who believes he was supposed to be born a man can do this for his wife.
It is so selfless, but all people argue about is if this person is a man or a woman. It's so sad that in the world we live in people can't report or talk about the good in this.

Because the media is the one presenting as a man/woman situation. Most of the time they just gloss over the whole reason that this is happening to talk about
"the birth that is shocking the world."

know if it's that some of you are just reacting to the headlines making it out to be a biological man gave birth, or if you truly refuse to see this person
as a man. I honestly don't know which it is but if it's the latter, well |

did an interview with the Advocate it was because of how they were treated by doctors and people at the hospital where they were going to go for check ups and
where they were going to give birth. They wanted to bring awareness to how a transgendered couple was treated.

ok I just read the entire thread now, and I have to agree with Dennis that just because people write a book, it doesn't mean they are trying to make
money off it, even in this day & age. some people are genuine in wanting to bring awareness to something and I think that's great, if that is what they
are doing. I hope that's what they are doing.

I just read that he did not have a c-section. I read earlier in this thread it was a c-section, but it was not.
Just a bit of info. |
