So the majority of the people have grown up together, and while people have started posting when they were really young, at the time there were many people the same age, and the board sort of grew up together. So now even the youngest people that were 12, at the time are now 17 and older. With the exception of a few, the board has completely grown up too.

And I think that it was just the nature of the board. It was an NSYNC board, and so the people who joined it were teenage NSYNC fans... and now all these years later a lot has happened and the majority of the posters have been here for years or the newer members are in their 20s.

JJB may not "scar" a 12 year old reader, but what we can be sure of is that no one - especially not a 17 or 20 year old - can guarantee that with any certainty. IMO, better to err on the side of caution and keep the under-16 set away. Kids are too eager to grown up.

I assume she will learn about anal and sex toys, eventually. That doesn't mean if she was my child or relative I'd take her with me into a sex toy store. Or a sex toy party. Or even an R-rated movie. Just because something can happen doesn't mean you as the adult provide the gateway to it. I assume she'll suck a dick at some point too. But if I was her mother or older cousin, I wouldn't bring a hard one to her and stick it in her mouth. Or look the other way if I saw her doing so. But whatever. Each her own.
