LMAO, I don't think so. They have a 23 person wedding party. TWENTY-THREE!
TR2119, the normal number is one maid of honor and one best man, and then a few bridesmaids and groomsmen. |

That's gonna be a lot of people walking down the aisle before the bride. Where are they going to stand?

23?!
I chastised a friend who wanted 1 Maid of Honour and 6 bridesmaids. |

Yeah, 23!!!! Insanity!
I would personally probably want three bridesmaids in addition to my ONE maid of honor. |

Is this a true story or a movie? Sorry I just had to ask!

I can't imagine having THAT many people in my wedding. That's crazy. We're only having 5 people come to our ceremony bc it's private. They have
almost 5x the amount of people in their wedding party as I have coming to my actually ceremony

Me too! I've never even considered having more than one maid of honor, and I've said I would have 3-4 bridesmaids, depending on who is in my life at
the time. There is absolutely no way I would ever have more than, like...FIVE.
Did you ever see 27 Dresses? Your post made me think of the ending. (I don't want to say it if you haven't seen it!) |

Yes, I loved 27 Dresses!
And it was on Bridezillas, not a movie. Scary. TR, wow, their wedding party was massive then. |

A girl I knew who got married May was a year ago had 19 bridesmaids, and her sister who got married back in April had 13. I thought there would be absolutely
NO way to get everyone in there, but they did it.

My cousin was just in a wedding and there was like 10 on each side for the wedding party. It looked stupid.

Oh another thing, I like it to be even on both sides. I think it looks dumb for pictures when there's like 10 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen.

Isn't it kind of an oxymoron to be the Maid of Honor when there are two others?

I went to a wedding two summers ago and there were 9 bridesmaids and 13 groomsmen. The kicker is like half the wedding party sings, so not only was there a
regular mass/wedding they sang a whole bunch of songs, which added at least 30 minutes to the affair. Did I mention this was in a unairconditioned church the
last week in June?

Ferris Bueller Youre My Hero wrote: Besides the A/C debacle (which sounds terrible), that actually seems like a nice ceremony. I'm used to Baptist weddings which are about 15 minutes WITH the songs. Seriously, they're so short that it doesn't seem worth the whole fuss. |

No, it was really sweet that they all sang (they had all been doing theatre together for years) it was just so effing hot.
Wow, that is a really short ceremony...I'm all for straight and to the point but that does seem like a lot of work for not a very long ceremony. |
