I was just wondering because some of the Red Wings were originally supposed to take it to Leno on Monday, and now I'm hearing Tuesday and I see that Justin
is on. Maybe they wanted the Stanley Cup there to relate to the movie? I don't know... 
Edit: I found this article of an interview with one of the Red Wings today. The Red Wings goalie Chris Osgood is taking the cup to the Love Guru premiere and wants to walk it down the red carpet with Justin. I don't know if it's in the plans like that or if Ozzy is going to have to convince Justin of this when they're both on Leno.

Red Wings goalie Chris Osgood spoke to WDFN's Stoney and Wojo on Monday afternoon, and, in a massive 16:31 interview, Osgood says that he and Nicklas Lidstrom will both appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Show with Carson Daly.
Both will appear at the premiere of the Love Guru as well, and Osgood hopes that he will take the Cup down the red carpet--for a movie where the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup--with Justin Timberlake, who plays a goaltender in the movie.
Osgood says that the Red Wings took the Cup to Cheli's Chili and allowed fans to take drinks from it on Friday night (when I got a drink) and Saturday night, and the players tried to make sure as many people as possible got a swig from the Cup.
He does confirm that a certain Red Wing dropped the Cup, and has had a talking to.
The interview's tremendous, and Osgood's pride in being a Red Wing, a Detroiter, and winning a Stanley Cup for both his teammates and Red Wings fans is...It'll make the grumpiest hockey fan smile.
