Does your box work well? I just got my piece of shit box replaced...with another piece of shit box. I'm wondering if they even have decent boxes.

I have comcast but I don't have digitial cable yet. I've been waiting to see if the rumors were right about another cable company starting up here
soon. I hate comcast! As soon as I can I'm switching.

All three of our digital boxes work perfectly fine. Our HD DVR box works perfectly fine too.

You mean your didgital box/dvr? We never have trouble with it. Did they come out and check the connections to the house or did you just go pick up a new box?
We had trouble a few years ago and they had to come out and just about rewire our place. But since then everything has been fine.

The Comcast guy came out and put the new box in. He checked the other 2 while he was here, also.

Yes it works okay. Haven't had too many problems with it. Only once or twice did I get funky letters like %*#( at the top where it lists the program. I
rebooted it and it solved the problem. They will swap it out for you if you have a problem with the box.
