overnight? I've had it booted back up for about 2 hours now and it's still soooo slow. It always does this when I shut it off for a long period of
time.
Why does my computer go slower when I shut it off...

It's likely updating stuff. The same thing happens to my computer when I finally shut it down. It also runs a full virus scan which slows everything to a
crawl.

Look in your task manager to see what is running (press the windows and R keys and then type in taskmgr). An alternate way of opening the taskmanager is to
right click on the taskbar and select taskmanager.
If the Applications tab doesn't help, then try the Processes tab. Google the process if you are unsure what it is. |
