Freshman year- I had three roommates- plus me= four girls sharing a huge room. Girl 1 didn't like Girl 2. Girl 2 accidently misplaced her dirty underwear
on the floor. Girl 3 took the dirty underwear and placed it Girl 1's hamper. Girl 1 saw the underwear and flipped out. Girl 1 took the underwear and left
it on Girl 2's laptop which was sitting on her bed. Girl 2 brought a guy over and he started laughing so hard because the panties were ugly and grandma
like. Girl 2 says its not hers, but it really was. Girl 4 (me) made a lost sign for the underwear just to be funny.

My roommate freshman year put a curtain up around her bed so she and her boyfriend could have sex while I was in the room. If that wasn't bad enough, she
also wouldn't allow me to watch TV if she was in the room, and would go to bed at like 8pm and get pissed if I stayed up with a light on to read or study,
let alone even try to put the tv on, or even watch a movie on my laptop with headphones on - she said the lights bothered her. All I would hear were huffs
coming from her bed if I did anything but lay quietly in my bed after she went to bed. I was having a hard enough time adjusting to college as it was, so I
moved out after about two weeks. There was absolutely no reasoning with her, no matter how hard I tried. It always turned into a fight, because she always had
to have everything her way. I just couldn't take it.

when I was on the Disney CP I was in a 4 bedroom apartment with 8 girls including me- one of them was from dominican republic and liked to cook plantains -
well one day she cooked some up and then left the pot on the oven- well she moved out (she was so quiet about it the rest of us never knew) the next day and
never cleaned out the pot. It had like 3 inches of film in it and I was the one that had to clean it out and I just about puked but I held it in.

Me and my brother had to share a room once and he got drunk one night and threw up all over the (CARPET) floor and when i came home the next day i realized he
went to bed afterwards and didn't bother to clean it up and the smell was horrible.

My roommate freshman year had sex in our one bedroom dorm with me trying to sleep in my bed. She thought my ear plugs were made of steel or something. I was 7
feet away from her bed.
Needless to say, I didn't like her much. |

Me, my ex boyfriend, my best friend/roommate, and her boyfriend all moved in together like 4 years ago into a 2 bedroom apartment. I actually ended up paying
the whole deposit blah blah blah. That's besides the point.
Her and her boyfriend started throwing parties. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! They kept smoking weed in the apartment, and one time I found out they were bringing coke in. I decided to call the cops on them and move the fuck out. Plus my shit was getting stolen, and my car was getting fucked with. I begged the people at the apartment to take me off the lease, and they wouldn't let me. Found out they had moved out a couple months later, and they had completely TRASHED the apartment. Holes in the walls, they had wrote all over the walls, holes in the carpet. OMG, it was a nightmare! The apartment was still in my name. So I had 3,500.00 slapped onto my credit. I actually just got it off my credit it not even a year ago. Thank God! |

last year, my first year living away from home. second semester. new roommate. day one that she is there we are talking and she's telling me about her
fiance who is going to school in DC and how he's only coming up 2 times during the semester. She tells me "oh you don't have to worry about being
sexiled. I would never do that. I'm a good midwestern girl."
not 24 hours later (and less than 48 hours after she got there) she comes back and says, "Oh my fiance got a ticket up to NYC for the weekend. It was totally last minute, is it ok if he stays here?" I said yeah b/c we have a living room and I figured they could sleep out there...whatever. so then she pauses for one second and goes "ok great, if you could find somewhere else to stay tonight..." and doesn't say anything else. I had just gotten back from home the night before and I didn't know anyone in NYC, esp. well enough to stay overnight at their place. besides, it's my room too. so I said I would be staying here. and she didn't say anything else. So he came, they went out for dinner and stayed out til really late. So, I finally went to bed and I wake up at 4 in the morning to them having drunk sex in her bed, not 2 feet away from me. NOT TWO FEET! I seriously, could've reached out and touched her bed. I was still half asleep and didn't know what was going on at first and so they had sex twice (it didn't last very long haha) and then they both fell asleep. Then he (who was getting sick at the time and had nasal congestion) starts snoring like a friggin' wood chipper. I was so pissed off, I got my blanket and went out to sleep on the couch. I was so frickin pissed. I called my mom who in turn told my entire family (including my dad and my grandmother) and then called the school, my residence hall and probably would've called the police if she thought she would've gotten anywhere with it. lol so then I talked to our suitemate (the RA for our floor who has her own bedroom and she told me to confront her about it so I practiced what I was going to say b/c i'm super terrible at confrontation) and so then they were gone all day and night and didn't come back till 2 in the morning and I had to stay up b/c I didn't want to wake up to that again. So, when they finally came home I took her aside and said, if they were going to do something to please do it in the living room b/c I could hear them last night and her only response was "oh, yeah. wow that must have been really awkward for you!" ..........DUH! Did that not occur to you before, during or after you were doing it? She was a spoiled brat and we never really got along, just tolerated each other for the rest of the semester. never exchanged phone numbers over the entire semester and I haven't talked to her since. There were so many other issues with her but it just isn't worth typing them all out. lol sorry wow. this was much longer than I thought it would be. lol |

I don't have individual stories, but my last roommate, who was my bestfriend... when we moved out didn't do a single fucking thing to clean the house,
they actually still had their shit in the bedroom downstairs until 2 days before we were supposed to be out, I cleaned the entire fucking house, I was sick as
hell with PNEUMONIA and my sister had to come help me clean because I could barely move... I had called the landlord and told her to go ahead and send the
check to me... she called the landlord and had it sent to HER and she got the check and gave me fucking half. Half for what? She put holes in the walls,
I'm the one who cleaned that shit. And her bathroom was fuckin' nasty!
I love her dearly but that was bullshit. So when we got a refund from the deposit we'd made for our power bill, I fucking kept the whole thing. Then again, she also owes me money because at current I paid for the liquor at her wedding a few months ago. |

I lived with two girls, one girl had her own room and never ever cleaned it for the whole year. She was nasty. She would microwave a pound of bacon at a time
and eat it in her room, then leave the dirty plate in there until we demanded she wash that shit. Every month she would lay on the floor of her bathroom and
YELL and moan that she was hemorrhaging and needed to go to the ER. She would call her parents and yell and them to come and get her because she was dying.
This went on for the entire week of her period.

Freshman year, I moved into an apartment with my best friend and two other girls we hadn't met. (WORST IDEA EVER). We clashed immediately (my BFF vs. the
other two girls). They did so many childish things; we couldn't believe it. My favorite: we ended up--because of miscommunication--with two trash cans, one
bought by me, and another bought by one of the other girls. One was bigger than the other, so my friend and I would throw big trash in the bigger basket and
smaller stuff in the little trash can. One night, we walked out of our room to find that the other girls had taken our trash out of "their" trash can
and put it in front of our door.
Me and my roommate wanted to get a big trash can that you put out on the street when you live in a house in front of our door with an "OUR trash" sign on it. Thankfully, we didn't. We were able to reasonably behave ourselves, and ended up getting to break our lease and getting most of our rent we paid back! It was like living for free for a few months. HA! |

Once my roommates were going out to a club and didnt want to take keys with them because the club was right down the street. So they thought it was okay to
leave the door unlocked, at night, with me there sleeping *rolls eyes*. When they came home and were locked out they got mad at ME for locking the door.

My freshman year roomie brought bedbugs in. Blamed the school, completely forgetting she'd come back from a weekend covered in bites. Then got all
impatient when the fumigations "weren't working" instead of giving them the whole month to like we were supposed to. It actually drove her out of
the room. From the day she moved out, on, I wasn't bitten again even ONCE.
My suitemate this year sits in the common room on her phone. I come out for food, and she disappears inside her bedroom, and when she hears my door close that I'm back inside, shecomes back out into the common room. I understand wanting privacy and all, but it's kind of pointless because A- she's talking loud enough for me to hear anyway, B- she's speaking Japanese. |
