For the past 2 weeks I have been freaking out about my first class. I
had heard the instructor was a complete asshole and that he is super strict. So I go to class today, TOTALLY the opposite! I was stressed out for NOTHING! The instructor seems pretty cool and nice. Of
course hes not going to hold my hand like a baby and take baby steps with us. We basically have to do a lot of stuff at home, but if we have problems, email
him or what not. He admitted that the class he had with my friends, it was a complete disaster and it was something that he really messed up on. So I think he
has learned from his mistakes and hopefully hes nicer. My other friend said she took his class but had to drop because she had to have surgery. But she said
since we have experience in coding (this is a PHP class) that it should be easy.
Its the OTHER class I am worried about. Its our last web class and we have ACTUAL clients this semester. YIKES! Plus we are doing "mock up" sites for an actual HUGE HUGE nation wide corporation. So we have to write a marketing plan for this company and present it at the end of the semester. YIKES!!! If any one is a marketing major or know stuff about marketing, its not easy. I took 1 class that was like intro to marketing. So thank goodness I took the class. Its not a pre req but it should have been. My poor friend is going to be so lost. But we have to do a thing called a SWOT analysis (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). Yeah this is going to be fun! So I might need JJB to help me out here!! I need to get some good ideas because not only can this work locally it can work nationally!
