OK, i no longer have transportation but I wanted to go to the mall today so I thought I'd take a taxi. But will they actually come to the mall to pick me
up there when I call again? And also, do they start charging you when they leave to get you or once they pick you up? Is that sort of thing determined by
company or is a universal thing?

Yes they will come to the mall to get you when you call.
The meter starts ticking away as soon as you get into the taxi. Some cab companies might tack on a surcharge if you're asking to be picked up or dropped off outside their main area of coverage. Ask the company when you call them. |
