I'm going on a second interview and am trying to come up with good questions to ask. They answered everything I had to ask last time during the interview,
so I was stuck without anything additional to ask. Any ideas? Please and thank you!

How many people on staff? What would the day-to-day responsibilities be? ...That's what I asked at my last interview. |

Okay..thanks. I'm just having problems because I interned there already so I have an idea of a lot of the typical questions already...in addition to her
covering a lot of it as she talked.

Are you interviewing with the same person(s) again? If not, you can re-ask some of the same questions. Some of the questions I typically ask are...
- I know there is often no such thing as a typical day, but if you had to describe what a typical day might be like for someone in this position, how would you describe it? - What is the organizational structure like? Who would I be reporting to? Would anyone be reporting to me? How do the different departments work together? If there is more than one office location, how do the different offices work together? - What is staff retention like? Do employees typically remain with the company for long periods of time? - What would you say are the biggest challenges for someone in this position? - For someone coming into this position, what would be their immediate short-term tasks? Long-term tasks? - If this is not a newly created position - What would like to see strengthened or changed about the position? - What work-style is best suited for this position? Does this position require more individual or team work? - If interviewing with a person that would be managing you - What is your management style like? - For someone looking to have a career here, what are the opportunities for advancement? - Before I leave, are there any other questions or concerns about my experience and ability to perform successfully in this position that I can address? |
