to go to Yankton, South Dakota? I was born and raised in Southern California and have only traveled to fairly large cities. I can't wait for Riverboat
Days!

I'm assuming pretty big culture shock. I spent 5 months in Orlando and it felt like a big culture shock for me. And I've only ever lived in So Cal too.

That's what I'm saying. It still felt like culture shock to me, so I'm sure Yankton will be crazy.

It will be major! It is a very small town. I have relatives there. I was last there a couple years ago. I remember I stopped at a gas station that had old
pumps - no option to pay at the pump. So I went in to prepay, because in my mind, that is just what you do at a place where you can't pay at the pump, and
I was told they don't do prepay.
It is so very small town. There are very few restaurants. We were eating at the Moose lodge one night and there was a wedding reception. Seriously, the Moose lodge is a big option for eating out. Yes, and people have their wedding receptions there too. It will be like traveling to another planet, that is how different it will be. |

I have family near that area. It could depend on what you plan on doing, but I'm always bored out of my mind visiting them. I can't even get cell phone
service out there.

Yea, like pick corn! My step mother in law told me a story about how they went to visit and before they even unpacked their bags my aunt in law told everyone
to get to work and help pick corn!

I'll be spending a month in Jamaica in about a week and Everyday I have a panic attack about some new "issue" I might have...I'm so sheltered
I'd probably have a culture shock going down the street
