My husband bought me a bike yesterday and I can hardly sit today...the seat was soooo uncomfortable. I even had a memory foam seat cover! Ugh. Also, I am
only 4'10 and it is an adult women's bike, so I can barely get on. The neighbors were staring.

Oh man, I can't imagine my huge butt in padded shorts.
I almost got a gel seat but the guy said the memory foam was better. He said the gel would go away. |

I agree with imnotsayingitright. Padded shorts are nice. But either way, you get used to it. My ass really only hurts after a really long bike ride.

You can get a gel seat cover to put over the seat, and yeah the padded shorts help too.

The padded shorts don't really look bad. They aren't as big as you're probably picturing in your head.

I need to make a video of me getting on the bike, just so I can seriously laugh at myself like the neighbors do.
