I'm the butthole that knows nothing about F1, but was going for work-related purposes. Anyway, for those interested, here are some pics. That would be what's-his-face. I still don't know much about F1. I enjoyed spending time at the exhibition tents with all the cool cars and bikes. This is the Paddock Club, the VIP area to watch the games, so you don't have to be outside in the stands in the sweltering heat. This place was amazing-- there were about 9 or 10 rooms of this size lined side-by-side; open bar; lots of ice cream (!!); catered lunches; champagne; big screens; activities. It was loads of fun being up here. Yay, a racer. The Ferrari Exhibition More Ferrari We know him. He's Hamilton. Eh-- not sure why the pics started sticking together in the end there. Tried to figure it out and couldn't. There's more, but I'm at work right now and only have these with me. If you guys want to see more, I can add them later when I get home. It was three full days of events and races and interviews and photo ops and whatnot, extremely exhausting, but well worth it. I may not have watched the races with quite as much interest as everyone else, but I truly had a fantastic time and learned a lot. Plus I got to hug George Lucas, had lunch with Macy Gray, Akon improv'd a four-line rap in my honor, and I made out with a really hot boy. It was a pretty sweet trip, overall.

Posts: 1074 (04/27/2008 7:28 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore	EHG-- every time my eye would spy Raikkonen (sp?), I would think of your screenname I had no idea who David Coultard was until Googling him just now Monkey-- it's absolutely breathtaking, especially for a country the size of Bahrain. I gotta give it to them, they really pulled it off. Kuwait was actually offered the bid at first to host the Grand Prix, but sadly, we didn't get off our asses in time to take care of things.
